Delete your account
How to remove your Pocket Stoa account and data. Last updated June 1, 2026.
Pocket Stoa (developed by Thanh Nguyen) lets you permanently delete your account and everything associated with it, at any time. You have two ways to do it.
In the app (instant)
- Open Pocket Stoa and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.
By email
If you can’t access the app, email holmesnguyen0104@gmail.com from the address tied to your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll complete the deletion within 7 days and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes everything we store about you, including:
- Your name and email address
- Your account identifier
- Your answers to quizzes, dilemmas, the trolley, thought experiments, the examen, and Socratic dialogues
- Your Self radar derived from those answers
- Your saved library lines and activity history
This data is erased from our active database immediately. Encrypted backups that may still contain it are rotated out and permanently overwritten within 30 days. We do not retain any of your personal data after that window, and nothing is kept for any other purpose.
Exporting first
If you want a copy before deleting, go to Settings > Export in the app (or email us) to download everything we store about you.
