What you’re agreeing to
By using Pocket Stoa you agree to use it for personal reflection and study. You agree not to scrape the content, redistribute it, or use it to train another model. You agree that the philosophical content is provided for thinking, not as professional advice — legal, medical, psychological, or financial.
What we promise
We promise to keep the app honest: human-authored content where we say it’s human-authored; AI where we say it’s AI; and a clear line between them. We promise not to design dark patterns to keep you in the app longer than is good for you. We promise that subscription pricing won’t hide auto-renewal traps.
Subscriptions
The Pro tier is billed by Apple or Google through their stores. You manage and cancel through them. We honor refund requests received within 7 days of purchase, no questions, regardless of platform policy.
Limitations
Pocket Stoa is provided as-is. We’ll make a reasonable effort to keep the service available, but we don’t guarantee uptime, data preservation across major changes, or specific feature continuity. We will, however, give you at least 30 days’ notice before sunsetting any feature you actively use.
Where we operate
Pocket Stoa is operated from the United States. Disputes are governed by the law of the state where the publisher is registered.
