Privacy Policy

What we store

When you sign in, we store: your name, your email, your answers to quiz / dilemma / trolley / experiment / examen / socratic prompts, your Self radar derived from those answers, and a small activity log of what you’ve completed and when. When you open the subscription screen, we also record which screen opened it, the plan you tap and whether a purchase went through, tagged with a random id for this install rather than your account. That’s the whole list.

Where we store it

Your data lives in a Supabase Postgres database we run, behind row-level security policies that make it inaccessible to other users. Backups are encrypted at rest. Authentication uses Supabase Auth, which delegates to Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email one-time codes. We don’t maintain a session beyond what Supabase’s standard JWT lifecycle provides.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not embed social-media tracking pixels. We don’t share your individual answers with anyone, including aggregated analytics products. The only aggregate metric we surface is the total vote count on a given day’s dilemma — just a count, not a row of users. Apart from the AI processing described below, no feature sends your data to a third party.

AI processing

Six features send text you type to Anthropic’s Claude API, through our server, over HTTPS: your first dialogue with Socrates, a Path’s Talk steps, Ask, Socratic Dialogue (your side of the conversation), Premeditatio (the worry you describe), and Envy Autopsy (the post text you paste and your answers to its questions). The app asks for your OK before the first message. No identifying information is attached — no name, no email, no account id. Anthropic does not use these inputs to train their models per their stated policy. If you report an AI reply, the reply is stored with your account so we can review it. Details: AI Disclosure.

If crash reporting is enabled in a build, Sentry receives error diagnostics — a stack trace and an opaque account id, never the text of your entries.

Your rights

You can sign out at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app under Settings > Delete account, which removes your row from every table; you may also request deletion by email. You can export everything we have on you from Settings, or on request.

When this changes

If we change anything material about what we store or how, we’ll tell you in-app before the change takes effect.
